The APD Booklet ()
This colourful family-friendly pamphlet has been produced by IHR in collaboration with the British Society of Audiology APD Special Interest Group and with advice from the UK parent support group (APDUK) and NDCS. It explains what is known and is not known about APD and what may be done to help the child at home and school. It is aimed at parents of children with APD.
Auditory Processing Disorder - Adult Patient information leaflet ()
This booklet replaces the 'OAD leaflet' which has been revised to bring it in line with current thinking on this condition. This booklet can be used in conjunction with an APD clinic session to allow the patient to read more about their condition. It can also be used by family doctors who decide not to refer patients for APD assessment but who would like to be able to offer some explanation in their clinics.
