In addition to the primary Nottingham University Section, IHR has two clinical sections in teaching hospitals in Nottingham and Glasgow. They work on both fundamental and applied scientific projects. Each house around 10-15 staff, including scientists, clinicians, and technical & administrative staff. Both are fully equipped with experimental and audiological facilities.
