Access to the intranet is restricted to members of IHR staff. If you are a member of staff then click here to access the intranet.
Accessing your files from outside IHR
For further information about accessing your files from outside IHR, click here. (You will be asked to provide a username and password before you can view this information.)
Members of staff working away from the Institute can access their e-mail using Webmail (Nottingham University Section). Members of staff working at the Scottish Section can access Webmail here.
Security
The first time you access either of the above from outside IHR University Section on a particular computer you will see be asked if you want to accept our security certificate. Click 'Yes' or tick 'Accept'.
When using the Intranet with Mozilla and Netscape browsers you will then see a second box entitled 'Security Error', warning that the certificate for 'intranet' is from a computer called 'webmail'. Click 'OK' to ignore the warning.
Finally, you will need to provide a username and password to gain access: enter your usual network login name and password.
